Terms and Conditions
Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd
The Parties referred to in this agreement are:
1) Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd, Bradley Land, Frodsham, Cheshire, WA6 7EX
2) “Client” – The individual, company or other who has signed the booking form on behalf of the “Party”
3) “Party” – The individuals who will be attending the venue and taking part in activities at Catton Hall.
All parties making a booking with Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd must accept the terms and
conditions contained herein, if they wish to make a booking.
1) Payment
Bookings will be confirmed and secured upon the receipt of a non refundable deposit of £10 per
person, per activity.
The outstanding balance is payable in full 7 days prior to the specified date of the booking as stated on
the booking confirmation. No Party will be accepted to take part in any activity without payment in
advance. Catton Hall also reserves the right to deduct payment in full for any “no-show” if not notified in
advance of 7 days of the activity date. Bookings made within the 7 days of the specified date must be
paid for in full. Payment can be made by Cheque, BACS, or Card. Cheques made payable to
Catton Hall S.G Ltd. MasterCard & Visa are subject to a 2% surcharge.
2) Booking
Upon receipt of a non refundable deposit Catton Hall will secure your booking. Booking confirmations
can be sent upon request.
3) Cancellations
Upon cancellation or reduction in numbers, deposits paid are non-refundable. All cancellations /
reductions in numbers should be notified as soon as possible by phone, mail or email. Any
cancellations within 7 days of the activity date will result in the group leader being held liable for the full
cost of the cancelled activity or reduction.
4) If Catton Hall cancel or make changes
In the event of us having to cancel an activity due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or
safety issues, a full deposit will be refunded or a free transfer to an alternative date or activity will be
offered.
5) Safety
A safety briefing will be conducted at the start of Paintball Games, Clay Shooting & Quad Biking. Safety
equipment will be provided for each activity. Catton Hall accepts no liability for loss or damage during
any activity.
Whilst Quad Biking, any party member who does not comply with the rules stated in the safety briefing will be withdrawn from the activity without refund. This particularly refers to anyone who puts themselves and others at risk. It is paramount that the party abide by the rules and regulations stated in the safety briefing.
We reserve the right to cancel or change your activity for safety purposes.
6) Behaviour
Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd may terminate a party’s activity if they feel that the behaviour of the
group does not adhere to the safety briefing provided prior to the activity.
7) Alcohol & Drugs
Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd reserves the right to refuse participation to clients they believe may
have been under the influence or alcohol or drugs.
8) Disclaimers & Insurance
A Disclaimer must be signed prior to participating in Quad Biking and Paintball activities. It is paramount
that participants recognise that there is an element of risk associated with these activities. Whilst every
care and attention is taken to ensure participants safety by conducting a thorough safety briefing you
will have to sign a disclaimer stating that you accept that there are risks involved in these activities and
that you accept no liability against Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd in the circumstance of an accident
during one of the activities.
Whilst not mandatory it is advisable that you arrange your own personal injury insurance.
9) Complaints
Any complaints concerning Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd must be reported in writing no later than 7
days after the incident causing the complaint.
10) Agreement
Any booking made with Catton Hall Shooting Ground Ltd is booked in accordance with these terms and
conditions.
