Team Building
Catton Hall, the North West’s premier outdoor activity venue is located in Frodsham, Cheshire just 30 minutes from Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.
Catton Hall has many years experience in developing exciting, innovative and quality programmes for team building, team motivation and staff activity days. We offer a range of traditional outdoor activities including clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, archery and paintball. Our professional team of instructors will deliver a fun day that will ensure your team return to work positive and motivated.
Quad Biking
Teams will compete and battle it out on the race track for the fastest times. We start with a safety briefing then a practice circuit followed by heats - making the event exciting, intense and fast paced. Trophy prizes for the winners!
Paintball Games
Popular team building event, involving strategy and communication.
Paintball is really useful in helping to identify the leaders from the strategists, communicators from listeners, the daring from the cautious. You'll be amazed at how the team experience brings out the personality and character of your staff.
Archery
In one hour the team must master the art of longbow and cross bow archery. The session starts with tuition and practice on the traditional target board before moving onto more tricky targets. After practice we have an intense to the wire competition. Trophy prizes for the winners!
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting is a thrilling and highly satisfying sport. Participants will be amazed at how quickly they pick up this sport and they will find themselves not only becoming thrilled with the clays they hit but then disappointed with the ones they miss. Clay Shooting really brings out the competitive streak in participants!
The format for the event involves participants being divided into small teams. Each team will be guided around various targets by an experienced Coach who teach participants how to shoot clay targets successfully. Participants will finish with a competition, each team will compete against each other, with individual scores counting towards an overall group score. Trophy prizes for the winners!
"Fun activities proved an excellent way of helping the team to integrate."

Treasure Hunts
This involves a testing but enjoyable walk throughout the 200 acre Catton Hall estate.
You will orienteer around fields, woodland and along river banks. Questions are asked about local knowlegde, history and traditions concerning this particualr area of Cheshire where Catton Hall is based. There are also questions about the landmarks and nature surrounding the walk. The Treasure Hunt is points and time based, so participants are racing against the clock but must also answer as many questions as possible to win.
We would ask participants to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather on that day and season.
Falconry
Get up close and personal to Birds of Prey and experience the ancient art of Falconry. You will be given an educational insight into these majestic birds by our expert falconers, questions will then be asked at the end to test your learing skills. You will then be instructed on handling and flying the birds, the group can work together to achieve success. Group skills will then be marked by the falconers. You will then be given a quiz focusing on all that should have been learned thoughout the session - this will also then be marked. An overall group mark will be awarded.
